Nathan, new member of the biking family, joins me in a little practical tutorial on a rather puzzling section of the Roanoke Greenway.
And I never even knew my buddy, Sal, had just the one leg until today when we went biking on the Greenway!
Well, I suppose then he had just the one leg, but now he clearly has two legs, as the photo taken seconds after the one legged version shows, and as I thought he had all the time I knew him until we went biking today!
I know biking brings on all types of amazing positive effects, and I believe miracles do happen, but this?!
‘look at all these little bikers getting ready to ride on the Roanoke Valley Greenway this afternoon!
The Greenway today was packed with bikers of all ages, so nice to see!
i went back and checked the greenway, where I amazingly somehow came off the paved track the other night and ended up in the dirt all disoriented. I found these tire marks and in the dim light when I was riding when it happened must have seen them and followed them into the muddy bank as the photo shows!
‘found a great new route for getting the groceries at a different grocery store, along a Roanoke Greenway! And it avoids the hill I had to climb and had come to dislike way more than the actual hill warranted (!) when I shopped at the other grocery store. Now, I have a nice relaxing scenic route for the frequent grocery rides!
