bikers can do anything cause the greenies love us, urban planing folks love us, almost all democrats love us, a good % of republicans love us, almost all lobbyists love us and more and more vehicle drivers love us cause the more bikers there are the more room on the roads for cars there are.
and because of all this the police rarely dare do anything about bikers running red lights, stop signs, etc.
bikers are one of the few truly free classes existing any more.
fun fun!
‘surely this presents a very strong case for on-street bike parking in downtown neighborhoods
Oh, No! What Happened at the Corner of 2nd and Kirk Last Night?
About six months ago, Roanoke, VA experienced the wonder-filled opening of Car Less Museum, and the corner of Kirk Avenue and 2nd Street has not been the same since.
Sadly, circumstances have brought an abrupt halt to the merriment and mayhem in the shadows of the Municipal Building.
Last night, two masked marauders were caught in the act of tearing down one of the Star City’s most revered and iconic, though temporary, landmarks.
The group Bad Eye Deer Bicycles has claimed responsibility for the attack.
as bike culture continues to expand within Roanoke city limits I am pleased to be refocusing on promoting, demonstrating and highlighting biking as a viable means of primary transport within this fine city

a great solution for bikers who also want to be drivers
Is the USA Today on a negative PR campaign against biking?
a still from the upcoming Car Less Brit video: “Packing Heat; a short survival guide for the bike commuter.”
hoping to soon find time to edit the new Car Less Brit video: “Packing Heat; a short survival guide for the bike commuter.” Even Ride Solutions, who I thought was my eternal sponsor and $ provider, won’t get near this one.
it surely takes more skill, finesse, aplomb and savoir faire to bike through red lights than to stop at them
One of my great interests is time reallocation in an urban system. All I mean by this is that when I walk across parts of London which I do most weeks it is quite clear that the amount of time I stand still and do not move as traffic hurtles past is very large. I estimate it is about 50% of my journey time. That means that even in a congestion charge best practice world my time is being stolen to reward drivers with time savings. I want the theft halted and the system re-prioritised to reward pedestrians and cyclists.
